Oscar Set To Join Barcelona Striker Lionel Messi On FIFA 16 Cover
It was the turn of the Blues' midfield ace Oscar to be rewarded in his home country of Brazil this week. And Chelsea have been busy this summer and have seen some of their stars win accolades for their work last season.
Having been given the chance to choose who will be joining Barcelona striker Lionel Messi on the cover of FIFA 16, it seems the 23-year-old impressed fans back home (More informations about FIFA 16 Cover). The official artwork was unveiled by EA earlier this week and features Oscar lining up alongside the prolific Argentine.
When FIFA 16 launches around the world this September, fans will be greeted by the familiar face of FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi on the cover of the game, alongside one that has been chosen by whoever cast their votes this summer.
Depending on where you are in the world, there will be special regional covers which feature Messi and other superstars. Over nine million votes were cast in the FIFA 16 Cover Vote, which helped decide who joined Messi on the cover of the game in Australia, France, Latin America, Mexico and The United Kingdom.
EA Sports Brazil officially confirmed that Oscar had beat compatriots Neymar, Philippe Coutinho and Thiago Silva to the cover slot earlier in the year and become the the best of the best.
